Captain Bob Scoggins, owner and operator of B & C Fishing Adventures LLC, brings over 30 years of hands-on fishing experience to every trip. Raised in Oklahoma with a rod in hand, Bob developed a deep connection to the state’s waters from an early age. His lifelong passion for fishing and genuine desire to share it with others led him to launch his own guide service, where he now spends his days doing what he loves most—helping people catch fish and make memories outdoors. Bob’s calm, patient demeanor and extensive local knowledge instantly put guests at ease, whether they’re brand new to fishing or have years of experience.
Captain Bob is well-versed in the behavior and seasonal patterns of Oklahoma’s most popular species, including paddlefish (spoonbill), blue catfish, white bass, hybrids, and stripers. His ability to locate fish in changing conditions comes from decades of studying the lakes and rivers he calls home. Known for his friendly approach and professional attitude, Bob makes sure each angler feels confident and engaged on the water. His goal is always to create an enjoyable and relaxed environment where learning, laughing, and catching fish all come naturally.
In addition to his species knowledge, Bob is skilled in a wide range of techniques—trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, and light or heavy tackle setups. This versatility means trips with him are never one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re targeting paddlefish during peak snagging season or chasing schooling white bass in warmer months, Bob adjusts his approach to match both the conditions and your preferences. It’s this tailored experience that keeps guests coming back year after year—not just for the fish, but for the guide they trust.
The Boat: A Comfortable and Capable Fishing Platform
Captain Bob runs trips aboard a 22-foot Epic center console, built in 2015 and powered by a reliable 200HP Evinrude engine. This clean, well-maintained vessel comfortably accommodates up to four anglers and is built for performance and stability on Oklahoma’s most productive lakes—Grand Lake, Fort Gibson, Keystone, and Skiatook. Designed with anglers in mind, the boat provides ample deck space, storage, and fish-friendly features for both serious fishing and relaxed outings. With a cruising speed of up to 50 knots, Bob’s boat ensures you spend less time riding and more time fishing where the bite is hot.
